Good design feature

Wasn't it handy that the rental car I swung into a column in a parking garage had easily replaceable plastic fenders and bumpers?

Update: I guess I am not so excited about this design feature when I realize my deductible is about equivalent with the repair cost. Sigh.

Update II: In place of deductible with rental car damage, there's just the threat of raised rates. Richard was asked by our broker if the $500 repair claim was worth the possible Safeco policy rate increase. What a racket! We've never made a claim until now, and it's been 5 years with 1 or 2 cars on this policy.
